Swift_Nimblefoot: @O Rly: Teenagers ARE kids, y'know. I never said "kids" as in 6-year-olds.

It's just that Japan tends to throw in too much mature stuff into its anime. Maybe nudity and violence is less of a taboo there, who knows.

Anonymous1: Pretty much everyone of every age group watches anime and reads manga in Japan. Different stories (written or animated) are aimed at different audiences. Sailor Moon was meant for young adults as are many of the shows that get shipped to the west as children's shows.
