Anonymous1: Yeah. The new Power Girl is such a castrated PG. No boobs, idiotic and conservative costume and a less tomboyish haircut. Probably a weaker character too.
Thumper: ^well, mediocrity is safe. After all, when you want to lay down your hard-earned cash for an old-school medium like comic books, you WANT the story to go on for months, the characters to be maimed in every way by PC/moral concerns, and everything to be watered-down to the extent that milk would seem an exotic drink. Not giving us what we want is a absolute guarantee to their business success!
loganrogue24: i miss the old pg my fav version is the amanda conner one and greg horns work. the new pg feels more like kara supergirl then kara power girl to me anyway. least i still have my kara supergirl in her own title. but i miss my sexy hot kickass headstrong pg.
Anonymous3: "idiotic and conservative costumes", "maimed in every way by PC/moral concern", you morons clearly have forgotten about the new starfire and harley quinn, among others.
Anonymous5: Same here, I really don't care how much skin Power girl shows, I'd just like her, and every other superhero, in an outfit that isn't ugly as hell. It's like she lost a bet with Terra and had to wear this monstrosity.
Anonymous10: Who cares? The old costume looks shit too but it's only popular cos it shows cleavage which is ridiculous. She's a terrible character anyways. D-list at best. All she has going for her is the tits and the somewhat desperate connection to Superman.
atalanta: Most comic characters have one, iconic, recognizable costume that makes the fans say "Hey it's So-and-so!" Wolverine's yellow and blue striped suit may not be the best design, but it's the one you think of when you think of Wolverine. PG has had a lot of suits, but the circle-cut-out, low-slung-belt, and shoulder-swept cape is just, it's the one that says "Power Girl".
I ignore the new Power Girl.
