Anonymous2: @Roflcakes: He has a point though. It's one thing when you make an occasional joke pic like this but I'm yet to see any of Max's "normal" works about the fandom. The closest to that is probably his Jappleack series, and even then it often gets some of this toilet humour.
He may be a real fan but with such a consistently twisted approach to creative content he does sort of come off as a jerk/troll.

The original Apple MOV is the only good MOV, and Japple went downhill after Applebloom's death.
Roflcakes: @Gomenasai: I know for a fact he's a fan. Off the top of my head I can think of at least 2 well thought out posts he's written on his blog explaining his sincere (or at least, it sounded sincere to me) love for the show and defending the fandom.
I mean, shit... look at all his other stuff. It's all pretty crude too! I think this is just the way his humor works because he clearly doesn't take anything seriously at all.
Also, I agree with you so fuckin' hard about the .MOV series. Establishing continuity between the episodes? What was he thinking?!

I hate that he didn't just stick with the "random, self contained antics" format that Apple.mov presumably was. Honestly, I've found that it's just got more and more unfunny as it's gone along.
Nightweaver20xx: Whatevs. I just chalk this up to him being stoned out of his mind, or drunk off his ass when he drew this. .MOV has its moments, however. And I suppose if he didn't at least like the show he wouldn't have created those toons anyway... they just take too long to make.
