Silent_Witness: @Anonymous: If it bothers him that much, then he can take it up with the site admins, once he provides proof that he was in fact the one who made this image.
Pillowkisser: Hey, it's me. Pillowkisser. The guy who drew the originial lines for this thing. Hi!
Normally I'm fine with people coloring my work, as long as they ask me first (or at the very least tell me after), which whoever colored this didn't do.
I don't mind this image (and the other with the darker hair) staying up on this site, provided I'm credited for my work. Hell, the cheeky colorist too if they want, and if anyone can find them.
PS. Happy to prove I made the original in whichever way, if needed.
Pillowkisser: (Just to be clear my beef isn't with the image being uploaded to this site, but with someone editing my work without permission -- or even letting me know -- and posting it online (presumably someplace else before it got posted here, judging by bartimeus' other uploads))
Silent_Witness: @Pillowkisser: Ok. We'll need a little while to get everything set up- add tags, source stuff, track down stray pics, that sort of thing.
jubilation_t_cornpone: It sounds like all that has to be done is to add the tag. As you point out, the uploader is not necessarily the culprit, perhaps having just found it somewhere. The pics on this site come from all over the place and the uploaders may not even remember where they got them. We encourage editors/colorists to sign their work, while not removing artist sig, and tag themselves (see FAQ), but most don't.
Might I point out that having a sig makes it easier for your work to get proper credit? Most people haven't memorized the style of every artist on the internet to the point that they can recognize the work on sight. If people don't know who the artist IS, they can hardly give credit by adding the proper tag.
jubilation_t_cornpone: Ah, belay that. The original pic did have a sig and it was removed. We do frown on that. We will delete this pic if you wish. It's up to you.

Please take it down before he is forced to take action.
