No offence to Personalami, as their artwork is goddamn lush and mistakes happen, christ only knows I make more than my fair share, but I got down in front of a full length mirror and tried this pose and no, I couldn't for the life of me get my head to twist that far and actually had a mild choking fit trying it. I couldn't also hold my head up that high either.
@badkitty: bending at the waste only bends the rib cage NOT the neck and head, bending at the waite at this angle would only lift her supporting arm off the ground. So I don't know what porn you've been watching and I don't think I want to...

But for the sake of this argument purely, this pose is broken to me, I physically cannot get close and literally a hour on Google I couldn't find anything remotely close either (though I don't frequent a lot of porn sites and I'm relying on my Google-fu). I ought to mention I suffered whiplash down my right side a month ago but I'm also double jointed and a size 4, and used to be a gymnast until the age of 12, just to give you an idea.
I could find plenty of images of girls doing the same stuff at this angle but no girl with her head lifted and looking around like that. I was trying to prove myself wrong 'cus I live to learn, so please, pretty please, prove me wrong and post some proof? I'm not even being sarcastic when I say you'll make me real happy if you do!

I have no issue with the body what-so-ever, pretty damn spot on in my book but I still can't find anything with the head turned around so much, I still don’t think it’s possible, that's what I was babbling on about, sorry if I was unclear before, English isn't my native language! It’s just that sometimes correct anatomy, not stylised but realism, looks wrong to the eye and that fascinates the hell out of me.
Anyways, I'm going to shut up because I'm making this into a 'pls teach Maples how to draws' thread and that's not very fair.
Anonymous6(4): @maplemoon: I'm no anatomy master but I believe the head in the drawing is turned a bit more than in the pose reference because of the placement of her right hand. In the drawing her hand is placed further to the left which would allow her to twist her spine further, including her neck and head :p
Anonymous8: The head and the neck are actually fine, the issue with the picture is her shoulder isn't dropped, which makes her neck look like it's turning further than it normally would, you can do the position yourself in real, it's easy, lol. It's the shoulder raised up, it's sort of an illusion.
