Anonymous5(4): "Yet another picture ruin by furry faggotry" I'm thinking you're either in denial or handicapped.
It's already furry faggotry, it can't be ruined by what it is.
Danielakiiki: @Anonymous: No, it's more a reaction against people having their 'fursonas' interacting with a canon character. Personally I don't give a flying fuck myself, but I can understand where they are comming from.
Anonymous7(4): And by "Canon" None of these characters are naked or have reproductive parts, nor is self inserting their own personal fetishes on them "Canon". They are picking and choosing what to believe and think, and ignoring everything else.
Anonymous8: I just don't understand people who get upset over fursonas with canon characters. Someone please give me a valid reason for so many people finding it somehow reprehensible.
Faptacular: ^As a fursona is essentially a cartoony self-insert it basically means you're implying you have a shot with said canon character.
Thus coming off as both douche-y and arrogant. That's why it irritates the fuck out of some of us.
Look at it this way: How do you think people would react to coming across an archive of "real" pictures people who shooped themselves fucking actual celebrities.
Nightweaver20xx: Pinkuh is a fat, smelly, Transformers-obsessed cunt who thinks she can push around people like me on FurAffinity because they draw porn of other people's characters without their permission.
Fuck that ugly shit-smeared whore, and fuck this stupid shit picture.
Anonymous9(8): @Faptacular: I understand that it IS essentially a self insert, but what does it matter? I would say it's a bit different than shopping yourself into a photo with a celebrity though because, in that case, it involves actual people (Which is kinda fucking creepy. This however, is based on entirely fictional characters. Either way, if you are sexually aroused by a character or a person- that, in a way, is an admission of your desire for sexual contact with that character or person. In other words: if you're already Imagining having a sexual encounter with someone/something, what is the harm in drawing a picture of it?
deathstriker: I have a different ruling:
Your money (commision), your choice. Unless the money other people spend for those pictures are yours to begin with, then they have the right to do so what they please with them.
Anonymous11(1): @deathstriker: I understand that commissioning has the right to exist, it's just more interesting to see the original work directly from the artist than someone's request. And artist can always decline a commish if it conflicts with his morals.
I know some artists who refuse commissions because they believe that these are not art but merely drawings, since they don't express themselves through them. The ideology behind this is difficult to explain in depth but I always felt conflicted about commissions.
But its clear to me that were entering difference of philosophy territory here.
Consider this.
I’m a writer, not an artist. Though I rarely post my work anywhere because mostly I write for personal fulfillment and stress relief. When I first got into FiM I started writing a human in Equestria fic that I seriously considered posting somewhere.
Upon proofing I realized that while I hadn’t intended it I had imposed too much of my own personality on the “everybrony” character that I had created and he’d officially gone from snarky OC in a weird-ass situation to self-insert.
As such I decided that A) the continued adventures of this character would now only be interesting to me and B) that my own common sense said I should keep him to myself.
My point being that just because you can create/commission something doesn’t automatically mean you need to share it with the world at large.
deathstriker: @Gomenasai: I understand what you are saying and partly I agree with you. But try to understand this as well.
You, me and everyone else HAS the right of criticizing that work or anything else they find it to be offending when is done public-wisely.
So if you want to frown to OC's and their ridiculus (truth to be told so ridiculus)design, multiple colours, crazy and multiple scars or God-moding (you know what Im talking about).
But in the end a comission is a comission, and the creator artist has the ultimate say in his creation(s). So if he wants to accept monetary compentation for his skill, then so be it.
I wont expand it, you get the idea, feel free to judge it, but it is not our say when everything else matters.
Anonymous13(1): @deathstriker: This much is true, yes. Artists have millions reasons to draw or not draw commissions and it all comes down to personal matters, believes and financial needs. People, however, don't just criticize art, they tend to judge artists themselves by their works. The art often does say a lot about what kind of person the artist is and that's where it gets complicated with commissions. I don't want to make a wall of text going there, I'm just leaning more in favor of original work personally and if others do take commissions it's their right, as long as they can face the judgment that comes with it.
Anonymous14: Guys seriously.. it's not a self insert... Pinkuh liked the panther char and offered to throw in a random female since she was drawing and there was no one else in line... Seeing a Rarity badge on the my bag, she decided to be silly and throw rarity in. It's literally just a kind gesture you broniefags are overanalyzing way too much! It's not arrogance, it's not even vanity. Its you lot looking for a reason to bich. I didn't ASK you to post it in the first place. Just finish your fapping and get over it!
skunkwolfe: @Anon11: Like I recently said on another pic: "Bitches gonna bitch." Referring, in both cases, to all the "Waaa, furryocselfinsertfurfaggot" crap, of course. ;)

For obeying the rule of supply and demmand that governs allmost every Western economy?
For wanting to make some money of his skill/trade?
For wanting to pay some bills that she sure has doing a honest agreement?
I dont consider it bad at all.
