deathstriker: The "good" version of Lola is not in the Looney Tunes show* so need to tag her.

Or what tried to pass as a Looney Tunes show.

champofgalacticretards: deathstriker, don't delete the looney tunes show because she is appearing in that show no matter she wears space jam uniform.

Sintime: I actually like the Looney Tunes show version better, she actually has a character, and easily makes me laugh, I'd choose her over the other one any day.

deathstriker: Well @Sintime: indeed, Space Jam Lola truth to be told had no character, like at all. She was just a preety figure
and one that Bugs has to be the White Knight of. Probably they where targeting for "larger audiences" there. But there are some problems with the old vs new version and it would require a lot of conversation on its own so Ill be brief.

They had used Lola's "old" desing on Baby Looney Tunes show.

If they wanted a "child friendly" Lola they should have given her a tottaly more wacky voice because even this one is more sensual than it should be.

And (that is not for Lola but the show overall) Looney Tunes show that does not contain large doses of hypertension is not a Looney Tunes show.

And last, why is she more looney than Bugs and why Bugs avoids her? Bugs is as much hustler as Pepe was/is.

The short version, I can expand if anyone likes.

Sintime: Her being sensual and being over obessive/crazy was what makes it funnier, like that episode when bugs explained that it was him dressed up as a girl and she said "How stupid do you think I am?" that face she made when she was saying that, rofl.
Also when she was backing up and saying "I will be watching you!!"
Yeah, let her talk all she wants, I'd love to listen to her.

yellowman: Seems to me that all these gmod/3d Lola pictures shouldn't be tagged the_looney_toons_show based on style. The Looney Toons Show had a very specific style which this isn't regardless of whether this is the better or worse Lola. This is obviously the Space Jam Lola which it is already tagged. The looney_toons tag is also appropriate since it's an overall brand.

deathstriker: @Coolio990alternate: Lol, I allmost forgot I had wrote that, but yeah since you asked let me give it my best shot. And maybe I will take that chance and not talk about Lola herself here (she is not the only one to blame for the rightfull criticism and/or rage the show has manged the fans to react to) but the show in general, but first let me tell you that I havent watch all the episodes so some things may be "out of order" here.

OK, well, let me start with Lola since she is the one getting all the slander (or praise, whichever side you are on) on that show.
I have told it before, but let me rephrase it, that the new Lola, having lost the only thing that got her in the eyes of the publick for the first time: Her looks (and to be fair and honest towards all and mostly towards ourselves, she DID had a kind of "Imma kick your ass" punkish behaviour and reactions, the "dont call me doll" phrase of her made you thing that this gal is made of some other stuff).
So with that gone since the show wanted to go on a different direction, a more child-friendly direction (that did not stop them from using her face in the Baby Looney Tunes show though, they could still change her "naughty" parts and not make a radical change imho), stripping her of her looks could mean one thing, they where gonna give her some character, some real Looney Tunes character.
And you know what? They did!
Unfortunately they decided that a character that speaks 5' most in the movie and is there only to be Bugs' hot new tail to drool about SHOULD, become an annoying chatterbox, flapping her gums aimlessly most of the time and stalking the leading protagonist from the beginning of the show.
Problem is, that this is NOT the behaviour the third star of the show should have, or any other character that does not want to appear in a negative spotlight.
Because lets be honest with ourselves here, the TRUE fans of the original show (and not the furries that want to get an eyecandy, not blaming them just saying my opinion) CAN forgive and WILL forgive a lot of things but not the desserting of a non-existand for a disturbing or failed personality alltogether. And this Lola no matter how sexy her voice is (they did cared for her looks but not for her voice????), no matter how much she steals the spotlight from Bugs (thats another them for later), no matter how she is an actuall member of the cast and feels like a Looney Tune, does not warranted this personality if she wants to make us forget the other Lola.

deathstriker: Wait let me say one last thing.
This Lola has managed to create a dihotomy between the fans of the show, take me and Sintime's posts for example :D.
This character is a either you love it, or you hate itkind of a deal, steering up discussions and etc. thus making the fans of the show or the not fans of the show "deal" with her and the show in general, and even a negative "occupation" with that character is still an "occupation" of your time (for good or worse) and maybe unwillingly the creators have succeeded in one department of her creation, like the previous one this Lola also makes us have our eyes on her, for a different reason, a very bad reason imho.
The creators can get away with all sorts of things, BUT not treating the classicals like they ARE the classicals, is a thing that they are not gonna get away with, not in the slightest.
If you see the rage the kids that grown with the 90's Disney films have today for Disney you will understand.
