Anon_3dot141: @Anon14: Actually, in the Christmas special, it turns out that Meatlug is actually a girl.@thedukeguy: Actually, Anon 3 is correct. Toothless has a tail with the skin-flap on one side gone. It was destroyed when Hiccup hit Toothless with the 'stone-&-rope-thingy'.

Anonymous6: Bola, the "stone-&-rope-thingy" is called a bola. common for hunters, vikings... not to sure bout that, but i can see them using such a tool for capuring fleeing civillans/holymen whom thay think is carrying some thing of value. but in the "realm/world of dragons" this would be a concevable application... for capturing dragons, not...this^, sorry. like the pic. very well done ;).
