Dracamus: I'm just going to geek out. Bruce is actually Terry's father. It is shown in a Batman Beyond movie. The New Gothem higher ups wanted to create a new Batman, so they used nano machines to change Mr. Mcguiness's DNA(his sperm only) to that of Bruce. They tried to recreate Bruce's tragedy(the death if his parents) so Terry will have the same mental scars but the hired "killer" couldn't do it and in the end his "father"(Mr.McGuiness) still died giving Terry the mental scars allowing Terry the chance to become the new Batman. At the end it appeared that Bruce knew about it but he never told Terry. With that said its FAMILY FUN TIME.
