MikeOShay: Anomalous, there are good ones that don't get horridly blown out of proportion. There are also good ones with no OCs and good ones that aren't like five hundred pages long.

you have the same trouble with everything else from books to video games. Sturgeon's Law: 90% of everything is crap. I find that sometimes quality seems to congregate around quality but not always.
Past sins is an awesome story. Unfortunately the voice (perspective) the authors use isn't the best and is beyond their writing skill slightly. Te best steak ever cooked just won't be as satisfying with ketchup. (Even though ketchup is fucking awesome.)
