slpowerhouse: For everyone that thinks Marluxia is gay take into account that originally he was supposed to be a she. A last minute decision about how final bosses should not be female came up and Marluxia was changed into a male. Also his power is nature not flowers and anyone who played the original game should know that his hair was originally brown.

And yes, his power is flowers, not nature. Specifically cherry blossoms (they were changed to roses later on), which in Japan are a symbol of death.

And he carries a scythe. And he's wearing a black cloak the entire game. All of which make him more like the grim reaper.
