Anonymous1: I remember even sorcery geniuses lose their magic when they get their period. I wonder how pregnancy affects her powers? Maybe having a life growing in her makes her healing spells more potent? I wonder if she casting too many spells would hurt the child?

King_Lesbian: @Anonymous: Probably doesn't affect her magic directly. If anything, I was thinking her casting spells might make the kid more potent in magic. The power she calls on coursing through her body and being absorbed by the fetus might energize it on a cellular level. Or since this is probably Gourry's kid, maybe the extra magic power in the body will help shield them from being mentally drained by the Sword of Light.
