It's not that complicated: think of all of the people who fantasize about Isabelle and seriously think deeply if you really believe they all want to suck a shitzu. Cartoons may depict characters that we can relate to and become attached to, but they're not real. They may be varying degrees of realistic but at the end of the day they're all vehicles for narrative. Trying to claim they're real to cope with the fact that you don't like the way outlet people depict characters you like is not mature, and it's even worse when you just that to argue about why you should be able to draw boundaries for other people.
