neitsuke: I looked at some old art at random and ironic enough the first two had signatures on the side. A lot of those pics with watermarks also have it on the side. I find it really noticeable very likely because I have a high quality screen with some very good contrast and color accuracy for drawing art. Always unfortunate to see art wounded that way
firedicks: @neitsuke: The more I realize my art is pretty good, the more I fear people trying to steal it and pass it off as their own. So, sorry if you're offended with how the watermark is placed.
neitsuke: Really now ? Annoyed yes, but that's it. No one is saying art theft is fine or never happens. People who steal art do not care about watermarks : They will blur it, edit it out which is very easily done with Photoshop filters and other software or even leave it there. If I was that worried about how good my art would be stolen because it looks decent, I'd have 5 of them sprinkled all over my art, but I myself do not care about my art being stolen that much. I care a lot more about having my art spread around and enjoyed by others
