Anonymous13: @Anonymous: Because this looks like Spanish and Brazilian doesn't really come to our minds as often as Spanish. To us, it just looks like an apples to apples kind of deal. Both languages look very similar to us because *we don't KNOW the damn languages*, or even the differences between the two. I'm aware that there plenty of Americans who actually know one of those languages (or even both for that matter), but to us who don't understand either one of the languages fluently, it's a little confusing. It's like trying to tell the difference between one shade of red and another shade of red that's only /sliiiightly/ different than the first shade of red.
