Anonymous1: Kitana? You’re dressing a bit more boldly than normal. Also, did you get new contacts and do something different with your hair?

Anonymous2: Mileena is always such an incredible hottie.

Anonymous3: Love the texture around the nipple area.

Anonymous4(3): @Anonymous: Hardly an outfit. I loved her alternate outfit in Deception although I could hardly call that an outfit either. More like strips of fabric to conceal her naughty bits.

Anonymous5(3): @Anonymous: Never played it although I’m aware of it. I watched a lengthy video about its decline. Not sure why you’d wanna discuss it here though.

Anonymous6(3): @Anonymous: Yeah, but I thought you’d wanna discuss it on a pic of Alma or something.

Anonymous8: @Anonymous: Well it’s pretty hard to imagine her doing a lot of things before they gave her lips like kissing, forming certain words or letters let alone give blowjobs. Same goes for the Tarkatans. Also I’d imagine her mouth to be dry and in need of moisture since it looks like she can’t even close her mouth fully or properly. I guess that’s part of why she’s so thirsty. I know some people are staunchly opposed to the lips thing but whatever. I think the complaints are just preference and visuals though. I mean she still has a monster mouth so it’s not like they took anything away or horribly changed her character.

My older brother played the arcade games. I think he started with MK2, I was around for MK3 to Trilogy but it was 4 when I really started playing a lot of it. My brother was a die hard fan though, he even played and beat Mythologies which I never could and apparently a lot of people also found frustrating.

Anonymous9(8): @Anonymous: Well I think a lot of games had trouble transitioning from 2D to 3D, the graphics certainly don’t age quite as well as is often the case with new technology and this was around the time when Tobias was running low on steam for the franchise and lots of people left shortly after. Some of the newer characters aren’t very fleshed out but it’s nothing a little tweaking can’t fix. I mean a lot of people are digging Tanya and Fujin now. But the game itself still felt and controlled the same as the ones before minus a sidestep mechanic. High punch, low punch, high kick, low kick, block and all that. The cutscenes are infamously bad but it’s funny bad. Maybe MK4 wasn’t a crowning achievement but at least it wasn’t Special Forces.

Yeah, I believe for the teeth they used press on nails that they painted. And yeah, I don’t mind her lips either. The only points against it seems to be that they don’t like it or similar to Baraja is how she ought to look. Personally I like that her mouth isn’t just a copy and paste job. It makes her more unique and distinct rather than just Kitana with Baraka mouth.

Anonymous10(8): @Anonymous: Not every game property really survived the transition though. I know Castlevania and Mega Man has had some 3D games but they obviously went back to what worked for them a lot of the time too. Final Fight and Contra tried follow the 3D trend but obviously it did not work out for them. You kinda have to rethink how the game works entirely sometimes and if you have a bunch of people familiar with making something a certain way and tell them to do things completely differently and outside of their wheelhouse, the results might not always be stellar. And yeah, it was pretty clear the thing was just rushed out to get it over with and probably a low point for the series. I don’t know how anyone who had a hand in making it can look back at the thing with any shred of pride.

Personally I think it’s kinda weird to make their own characters DLC but I guess this is the world we live in now. I think I’d love to see Sareena back with the other two girls with her, Kia and Jataaka as support or tag partners. Ashrah, Nitara, Li Mei, I’d like to see any of them back really. And just to even it out a little so it’s not just babes that I care about, Kai and a base form Blaze.

As for guest characters, I’d kind of prefer it if they considered more video game characters. Obviously due to the violence and x-ray or anatomical detail in the game, it kind of limits who you can bring in. Rick Taylor from Splatterhouse, Rayne, Doom Slayer at the top of my head.

Anonymous11(8): @Anonymous: Sareena ain’t exactly my favourite. She isn’t in that many games or used often enough to build much of a fan base. She and the other two started off in Mythologies working for Quan Chi in the Netherrealm as assassins. Supposedly they have hidden demon forms although I don’t recall ever seeing them at any point. It was said that the younger Sub-Zero saw Sareena’s true form though. Maybe like Triborg, each variation can be one of them with their own demon form and weapon they specialize in while the others are support that jump in on command or assist in Fatalities or special attacks. Since they basically live in hell, I think it’s really easy for them to come back at any time. Also I think the actress for Sareena also played Sindel in MK3.

I think any character could potentially work if people are willing to try with them.

I think Dredd could potentially work in both series actually. I mean they already got Robovop which isn’t too far off. Although it worries me that yet another character in these games will have a gun. I mean I’m sure I didn’t exactly help with Doom Guy. I sort of miss the days when this thing was a fantasy infused martial arts tournament though.

Anonymous12(8): @Anonymous: Obviously I meant Robocop. And really I think he would fit in Injustice since at its core is question of whether or not it’s right to kill. Obviously to him, it’s necessary but I’d wager he’d challenge the authority of the regime for all the unethical and questionable things they’ve done. It’s kind of a shame that Netherrealm has both Batman and Predator in their games but not the same game.

That‘a good, it does seem like an intro that could happen in a NRS game, especially with the reference. If characters actually reacted to what the others actually do in their intros, I’d love it if Dredd judges Kano for public urination and indecent exposure for when he pees. And Kano says “Oh, I’ve done plenty worse than that.” to which Dredd responds with “Do you wish to confess?”

Yeah, it used to be ninjas of every colour but now it seems like a firefight. I pity any character born without a teleport or projectile that needs to get close and personal to do damage. Good luck with that shit.

Anonymous13(8): @Violetty: Top Cow Comic’s Darkness for Mortal Kombat! Why not? They already got Spawn.

Anonymous14(8): @Anonymous: Are you familiar with Witchblade? Darkness is sort of similar.

Anonymous15(8): @Anonymous: Pretty sure Witchblade was Top Cow too.

The Darkness actually had a couple of games made last gen.

I doubt they’ll ever use him though, they probably ought to go for higher profile or bigger names.

Anonymous16(8): @Anonymous: Yeah, there were two games. Obviously he’s not quite the household name some of those other characters are like Spawn. I think Lobo could easily work out in MK too since you could pretty much do whatever to him.

Anonymous17(8): @Anonymous: I think the problem with Ghostface is that it’s usually just a normal person and they would easily get wrecked even by the bottom tier kombatants. But due to the nature that the identity of the killer is always changing and hidden, I guess anyone could be underneath it.

Boy, it’d be nice if we didn’t have to worry about rights, legality or money and just crossed over whatever we wanted. I guess that’s where fanfics and fan art come in handy.

Anonymous18(8): @Anonymous: I’m kind of tempted to throw the Shadow in there too.

Ghostface always seemed to me like a killer with a motive. Some people who watched too many horror movies or copycats tryna fuck with someone. Michael always seemed more mysterious and like a force of nature that just kills. Also they changed the continuity of the Halloween movies so much that I’m not even sure which version of Michael you wanna go with, I’m guessing the most recent one since it ignores almost all films prior. And I’m assuming you’re gonna use multiple Ghostfaces since in each film, there’ve been several people with the mask working together so it’d be one Michael fighting multiple guys? Y’know this crossover actually has me wanting Laurie Strode and Sidney Prescott working together and teaming up to stop a killer which is impossible though due to the fact that in Scream, Halloween was movie that people knew and watched. But yeah, let’s hear what you got on this.

Anonymous19(8): @Anonymous: So the events in Halloween actually happened in this universe in a movie? I guess you could substitute it with another movie that kicked off the slasher genre craze which Scream is aping off. Maybe Randy could be watching Psycho, Black Christmas or Friday the 13th maybe. And how would resolve the Michael and Sidney thing? Is he just gonna be cool about her because they helped each other a bit like T-Rex and Raptor in JW or is he gonna still try to kill her?

Anonymous20(8): @Anonymous: I kinda like to think all slashers are sort of in the same universe sort of like in the comic Hack/Slash which tries to give a reason why so many seemingly supernatural, hard to kill killers are out there, compelled to do what they do. I kind of like the idea that all the survivors can band together and being able to relate to each other can ease each other’s pain and trauma, being a sort of support network of potential allies.

Oh and you didn’t have to go and do that. But I appreciate the thought and consideration. Thank you.
