craggle: yes, robin is richard "dick" grayson. they never actually say his name in the cartoon, but they hint that he is dick grayson many times - in the future, he becomes nightwing, like dick, he loves starfire, like dick, the robin superfan from another dimension's name was nosyarg kcid, dick grayson backwards.
