There is a topic here in rule34 where Minako was in first place, Rei in second Ami in third Usagi in fourth and Makoto in fifth. In research in the comic-con Ami magazine it was in first place of popularity for the Japanese public and Minako was in second. According to this magazine Minako Aino is the first in popularity almost all the rest of the world with the exception of a few countries that choose Rei Hino.
