Anonymous5: @Goodwin: It's possible to go on a date with Barrett at the Gold Saucer. Game tries to force you towards Aerith (she starts with more points than the others combined) but it's possible to get any of the girls or Barrett depending on your dialogue choices over the course of the game up until that point. All those options you thought were pointless? They add or subtract points from one or more characters score. Highest score gets the date.
