I can't remember where I read it or when but I read a theory once that humans were kidnapped and turned into trains. I don't know if you had the idea from that, or maybe just because the trains have human-like faces

I did do a Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends Origin story it's about how the engines came to life and if you want to know how it was stormy and lighting struck down on all the engines and that's how they came to life by having human faces and human body parts.
