I was one of the Tumblr nukes so no source for future edits until I find a new place to live. Until then I may as well link to Anaxus's tumblr cus why not. Dunno if that's the right URL though, I just copied what other people were putting on previous uploads.
narsaku: @Sinus: Yea it's shit but I don't do edits for money so It's not that big of a deal for me. I'm much more saddened that tons of people who've built communities and careers over the last decade were being lied to for years and now suddenly banned. Sub-human corporate behavior imo. Thanks though >:D
The_GlassKnight: @narsaku: It's a shame because I just started using Tumblr not to long ago. I may not have much of a following yet, but hopefully I'm not next. Fantastic edit by the way!
narsaku: @The_GlassKnight: Ever since Tumblr got bought out they've quietly been removing adult content creator's options and it's only been getting more controversial over the years. IMO the future of Tumblr is no adult content, they're just figuring out how to remove us from the platform in a way that avoids backlash. The recent Apple ban over child porn is likely what caused this whole situation.
Either way as any adult content creator I think it would be a wise decision to find a new place to post adult content. A place that has strong pro adult content policies. I recently, "on request", had my account reviewed and got okay'd by tumblr staff themselves. Only to be banned a few months later over this whole ordeal. This is how volitile the Tumblr platform is for adult content right now, and i suspect it'll get much worse in the years to come. If NSFW blogs aren't banned right now, they're likely going to be banned later. Or at the very least crippled so far into the ground with anti-NSFW policies that posting on the website with adult content is nearly meaningless.
Thanks for the compliment though, I'm burned out on Anaxus's stuff quite a lot right now but this picture was just too easy to edit to ignore. XD
Anonymous1: @Narsaku: But there's nowhere to go, they're also banning adult content from Patreon and now Twitch has new SJW rules as well. Every website that makes money with advertisers or uses Paypal will kick us out eventually. It really sucks, basically if you're an adult artist you're not allowed to make a living and if you draw Anime girls then forget about it because it's started to be treated as CP. It fucking sucks. :(
narsaku: @Anonymous: And it'll only get worse. But it's because these platforms weren't intended for adult use, they just allowed it to help themselves grow as everyone knows pornography funds startups, and as soon as they don't need them anymore they start doing controversial policy shit and then suddenly users are gone. Patreon will drop adult content creators eventually as well, it's just a matter of time.
But that doesn't mean the adult industry will die, it's gigantic and it's only future is more gigantic as more men fail to launch and become lonelies. The trick is finding yourself on a platform that's made for adult content and unfortunately having several other avenues as well. Patreon's, Fundme's, Private donation avenues etc.
We live in a time where society is being governed by diversion politics like Feminism/LGBT/Black Lives Matter etc to keep the general public worrying about things that don't matter vs the things that do like how governments are being run, privacy is being invaded, foreign immigration politics and shit. The smoke and mirror game will only get worse and SJW's will only gain more momentum. Companies will support them before anyone else, and that comes at our expense. Basically what I'm getting at is.. No single place is really safe if you're looking to make a living with porno unless you're part of a powerful network like a porn studio or something. Have a plan B. And C. And D.
narsaku: @Anonymous: Well it's to be expected. We live in a world where everyone wants equality yet there's many demographics of people who are looked down upon or attacked for being different by shitty people even if they aren't harming themselves or other people. In order to have those things change sometimes people feel the need to be extreme in order to get society to listen otherwise they're ignored and un-helped. Whether they're righteous or not is another story entirely.
My problem is the platform holders who aren't part of the SJW groups are immediately catering to them by creating deleting algorithms so quickly that they're not done right and they start axing innocent users from their platform without any ethical concerns.
Long story short, everyone's at fault. The people posting child porn, the SJW's who blame everyone, the corporations who cave into demands and even the people who aren't involved, but are a part of the system, and don't speak up because they're either too afraid or lazy.
