Anonymous1: Maybe if someone actually colored it themselves this wouldn't be a problem like everybody wants, sounds like somebody's just mad cuz someone is making up for their lack of effort. Great edit by the way! Thank you for making this art better.
Cynsity: @MarleySoo: Hi cyndiquill200 here, and if you don't think there's something wrong with editing someone's piece of artwork without their permission think again! Because that's a shitty mindset to have.@Anonymous: Hahaha so funny maybe if you came off anon and paid artists to do their shit, or encouraged people who want to color stuff like this to ASK first maybe the artist wouldn't be so pissed off. It's not a lack of effort to publish line arts it's just your greedy fucking attitude.
TwistedMiseryXx: @Cynsity: Hey cyndiquill. I actually follow you on pixiv, but i just want to say, I've seen a work of mine edited w/o permission on pixiv too. I only asked him to credit me that's it. You should feel kinda honored to have someone willing to do this. Not saying it's obligated, but I'm just saying to feel too sour about it. It's just something that's gonna happen.
You could always color it yourself and have the "true original" going on
MarleySoo: @Cynsity: People are free to edit whatever they damn well please, especially if the original was freely posted on a public site.
If the OP was outright stealing/profiting off of work you had monetized, not crediting/sourcing you in anyway, or claiming to be the sole creator, I'd be on your side. That pissy attitude of yours doesn't help your case in any way.
Cynsity: @Cynsity: I've recently only commented when i'm frustrated by something but i've just checked my history dude and there's only like 6 pissy comments, but either way doesn't matter. There's a difference between using a character and taking a piece of already created artwork, it's a matter of respect. (plus if RoosterTeeth came to me and asked me to stop I would, and I wouldn't tell them it's their fault for posting their stuff publically.)
@TwistedMiseryXx: If people reach out i take it as a compliment. What i don't take as a compliment is people reworking my stuff without my permission. THAT's what's frustrating me here, it's a lack of respect. Also this was done as a free request on a stream so there was 0 reason for me to color it.
@MarleySoo: Free to edit does not mean free to post (a lesson i had to learn myself, which is why you'll find edits i've done in the past in my posting history. I posted those without permission and had to eat shit for it). I will gladly let people color in pieces they want to if they ask. Doing so without approaching the artist is beyond disrespectful. And if this were the first time this had happened to me maybe my pissy attitude would be unwarranted but this is a continuing problem. Thanks for understanding why i'm chomping at the bit.
TL;DR Ask permission, use manners, if someone's upset there's a reason why.
Anonymous3: I'm With @Cynsity, I understand the urge to add color to a black and white draw, but that doesn't mean people have to do it, especially without the artist's consent, sometimes there is art that doesn't need color, or the artist really like how it looks without color, but then, a smartass color it, and come with something like is their right to do it, that feel like a punch in the face. some artists are ok with color draws, but others are not, respect artist choice, and avoid problems in the future, I mean, how difficult can it be to ask the artist for the opportunity to do it? now, Do you want color without asking the artist's consent? then draw and color your stuff.
wizardmoon: @Cynsity: True, it's a difference between using copyrighted material to profit from it (not talking about that particular job) and panting the art already created for fun. (other than waiting for RoosterTeeth to contact you because you are using their work is no different from this, especially since you do not give credit for your work.) I never blame you for anything, just point the fact that this is an open gallery that allows editing and that you did not post the source on the material, and even you a diferent nick in here, making contact difficult.
Also if was the firts time that i colored anything from you, so not my fault for this been a continuing problem.
Been pissy don´t justified lack o manners, politennes is, using your only words. what "DECENT human being" should do.
Also you are admitting that you have done the same thing before proves that you used to think it wasn´t disrespectful to do so, but as someone felt offended you started to feel offended too.
Anyone cam be upset about anything for any personal reason, that dosen´t mean they are right thougt.
however, I understand your point of view, although I disagree with your opinion regarding it, but talking like a 05 yrs old, talking thing like "touched my shit without my permission" make me what to color half of your work just to make you mad, this is what an asshole would do, shame that i dont have that kind of time
GirlaPH: So yeah, I'm gonna comment on here since I've been to this site like years after I left AeriesDies became shit. It's not OK to color someone's arts without permission unless a person officially colors it. If you want to color someone else's work, PLEASE GIVE PERMISSION FIRST! This kind of behavior has to stopped and I'm surprised this was allowed on here.
Anonymous6: Dude if it was a free request you didn't care about then why the fuck did you get so butthurt about someone coloring it? Did you just want people to commission you to color it you whiny asshat?

See, you are not that different from the guy that colored it.
Seeing your comments in other pics, you are always rude or just mad with the world?
