There are other types of liquids that have the same benefit, such as coconut water, infused waters (check for added sugars if buying at store), and salt fixings! If he doesn't drink the amount he should, he could get stomach ulcers, joint pain, premature aging, and maybe have to have an IV stuck in him to transfer the provided liquids into his body....in a hospital, and you guys know how much those cost
