fishmonger: Was she burned? I haven't played any of the games myself, but I don't recall Triss having scars on her chest. Is that canon? Regardless, nice image, for sure.
Anonymous1: @fishmonger: It's from the books. She was burned in the battle of Sodden Hill and hid these scars using magic - still, in the books she never wore cleavage again because of this.
For obvious reasons, they changed that last bit in the games.
Anonymous2: It's canon in the novels. It was pretty much glossed over in the games because a female love interest with burn scars isn't very marketable.
fishmonger: @Anonymous: @Anonymous: Cool, thank you both for your replies. I did do a little checking, and it seems that magic can basically fix anything... apparently Yennefer used to be a hunchback or something? From what I read, she fixed it with magic, but it wasn't perfect so Geralt could tell something was off (her shoulders were uneven or something). So, if she was burned, couldn't she just permanently fix herself with magic instead of just hiding the scars? I imagine burn scars would be easier to fix than a physical deformity, but who knows...
Anonymous3(2): @fishmonger I believe Triss is allergic to magic healing (it was said in the games, not sure about he books), so perhaps that's why she hid the scars with magic instead of just fixing it.
fishmonger: @Anonymous: I see... very interesting. I really should go play those games. I heard Witcher 3 was pretty awesome, other than the fact that Roach is a fucking moron and damn-near impossible to control. Anyway, thanks again for the information.
