Anonymous10(5): Ahem, Yuri only cuts herself because of Monika messing with her brain. So she actually is normal, depending on what version of Yuri you're talking about. The first version, clearly this version, is normal. The second version yes, does cut herself and is obsessive and all that. I just prefer it where she's not insane.
UnholyFox: I think it is safe to assume Yuri still cuts before Monika even messes with her as it is portrayed when she visits to work on the festival she is caught quickly rolling her sleeves down. Now if this means she cut herself in your room or was simply looking at the cuts, we don't know. To my knowledge Monika only increases the negative tendencies they have which would lead to her cutting going from a 1 to a 10, can't increase what is not there.

She quickly rolled up her sleeve when you enter the room. Why? I think the answer is obvious... Even a poem about her in Act 1 about her and a raccoon hints at her "fetish" when she "feeds" herself. Yuri is a strange beautiful woman and there is something wrong with that but she doesn't exist so it's ok.
