Anonymous6: Anon1 and 2 are in denial. Birdo was male in the Japanese version of SMB2/DDP. More recently Mario Strikers called it a he in both the Japanese and English versions too.

SMB2's birdo was probably named frank, and it is very likely that his father never loved him.
This birdo does not have a name, as she is not wearing her apron nor in the kitchen.
