Anonymous1: @sebusca: still fucked up I my opinion, they are kids in the show and he's using the original designs. Surprised Tumblr didn't banned him yet
Idelacio: @Anonymous: Is the argument here that because they are based on the original designs they are offlimits regardless of what age you believe are portrayed as? If so, this is Rule34 not deviantArt. Per the rules page: "Canon age is not relevant; many pics adjust age up or down.".
The two rules that concern us here are "lolicon/shotacon where the character depicted is clearly pre-pubescent", which I would strongly argue against in my interpretation based on technicality and teh 70 or so pages of Gwen art, and "realistic 3d renderings of underage characters" which I would argue against on the basis that I don't consider my work realistic but stylised. As for the underage part I get wildly different opinions from people, artists and commenters, so I don't see much point in seriously debating this aspect as it seems to hinge on personal interpretation. Even if I say they are over 18, which has been stated, I can't go and provide dental xrays as proof of age because they aren't real people.
As for Tumblr I challenge someone to find a rule or form that relates to this issue specifically. Seriously I can't find one and, no, the harm to minors one doesn't count as these are not real people. Though I will grant that we are talking about a site wherein an artist can be reported and banned for fat shaming by drawing a curvy character (who can shapechange) too thin but I don't think that's behaviour we should be encouraging.
Anonymous2: - Idelaciso --> Are we arguing this before a jury of fellow perverts about the lawfulness of porn toon classifications? When nobody gives a fuck.

And they do not seem to be minors at all.
