B1R3H: If I remember correctly Trixie Tang managed to have a daughter with Buttercup through science but from the same author I think that in the future a monster type monster kills Buttercup and Trixie tries to avenge his death
Anonymous1: Can anyone tell me why Trixie×Buttercup is even a thing? They have nothing in common and are from two entirely different series. Why do people ship them?
tdkid: @Anonymous: because of an artist named toongrowner on deviantart. he was the first one to come up with them as a couple and people like that idea and wanted pic of their own of them.
Anonymous2: @tdkid: that's it? I mean, I am well aware of toongrowner shipping the two, and I had him kinda in mind when I asked this. I'll make it clear that I'm not a huge fan of random crackships (unless it's purely done as a silly joke), so Trixie×Buttercup isn't my cup of tea, though it kind of surprises me it has quite a following.
So, I was hoping for a better answer than "it's because this guy randomly shipped them and others found it cute too".

I don't know the real reason why toongrowner put these to together, maybe it was because someone asked for it years ago or maybe he wanted to see them together, only he knows the reall reason but if you want to know you could always ask him.
toongrowner: Not sure if you are reading this but here I go. Well there where quiet some reasons why I made this couple. One was that back then, I was readng the bleedman powerpuff girl doujin and I tried to imagine what could be if these characters where even older, like in their teen years. I also wanted to ship the main characters and I just can't see Buttercup being together with a boy (with one exception maybe), so I made her a lesbian and last but not least, I kinda like these tomboy/princess couples. Also you have to keep in mind, when I was thinking of Trixie, I was thinking of the secret Nerd from the FoP episode "The boy who wants to be the queen". I'm a little surprised as well that so many people like this couple. ^^
