Suiver: @AnimeXtremex: yeah, idk, the first to really take an interest to the game were gamers and artists on tumblr, I guess they gave them a little tail to add to their cuteness in artistic liberty,I'm not sure who specifically decided.
I don't even think Mickey mouse had a tale until later on, the old toons (rubber hose) were ment to have a more anthropomorphic look than be actual walking animals.
InkSinning: @AnimeXtremex: It's kind of a Mandela Effect thing. A lot of people forget he actually doesn't HAVE a tale in canon. But collective conscious kinda leads people to think he does anyway. It's a strange phenomenon.
