Also it may or may not have a gender, and it's generally suggested that it's female based on its other titles (Mother Serpent and the Bearded Lady). The god isn't messed up, but simply wants people to follow their desires, and sex is the most simple and carnal of desires, so yeah. Work it out yourself.
