maymaymay: I decided to add a deep blue tint to it because I realized the story takes place at night. Its funny because I did the left one second and you can totally tell how much more effort i put into it...might go back to the right eventually and make it cleaner.

maymaymay: Im doing the whole thing, but since its for personal enjoyment and not a paid commission I can only work on it on nights I have less going on. I can get a full page done in an hour or two usually as long as I already have the swatches ready. If someone wants to help feed my poor ass than Id be happy to pump out full doujins in a couple of days time. Unfortunately, time is money, and in terms of money Im pretty broke and its hard to justify working on more than a couple of fun projects outside of paid work that pays basic stuff like rent and internet bill etc.
maymaymay: You act like getting paid for time spent, for services rendered, is a new thing. Not sure if youve ever been an artist starting out, but if you dont have a support from family it can be tough to get by. You spend a lot of time trying to stay a float going from project to project, and often end up having to take on extra work to pay rent and other bills. Id rather do digital painting for people with extra cash flow then take up a part time food service gig thats only 10 hours a week (sue me. lol). And as for "expecting," Ive already been hit up by people wanting to pay for commissions to color full doujins. Right now im lined up to do 6, most of them 20+ pages. Hate us cause they aint us.
