Sindust: This pic is precisely why I hate tumblr. The artist gave it a bunch of bullshit unimportant tags but neglected to give it a "Muffet" tag and so people looking for this shit can't ever find it.
Anonymous2: A lot of artists on tumblr don't tag characters in this fandom on purpose, because they don't want kids to be searching for a character on tumblr and find porn. There are posts circulating that are actually encouraging people to stop tagging character names on nsfw stuff, even.

Anonymous5: @Sindust: Tumblr is shit because of its incompetent staff and lack of useful working features, not because people don't use tags properly. Artists don't "properly" tag things most of the time because the search system is stupidly limited and often times doesn't even work. Unless you're finding people's content via other people you follow's reblogs, you probably won't find them, so why would artists bother tagging things?
Instead, tags are often used as a low-key comment section, thus the bunch of bullshit tags.
