Thumper: @Biggus Dickus: long story; anyway, there's a tree there that grows various fruit. eating of it causes a variety of effects, one allows you to edit your memories, another style allows for daydreaming situations as though you were there. you could live in a fantasy world of your own making, totally replace your perception of reality, for a million years or more, then wipe your memories and re-live it playing a different role. and you have eternity to play with there. I remember it was said there were a dozen or so styles of fruit of this tree and all had their own purpose..
