RenaTamer: From what my uncle has told me (he once worked for Hasbro) Star was going to be fem, only the top heads didn’t think that young boys (who the toy line was aimed at) would want to play with a girl transformer. Now I’m not saying this is true, I’m just saying what I was told… However the more I watch the old 80’s cartoon, the more it Star looks and acts like a fem… and it would explain why he was one of the few bots (like Arcee) who had a pronounced bottom lip.
