Yes I am aware that if you google her, Street Fighter IV's producer Yoshinori Ono, says that she is Transgender, But! she is not. This was confirmed two years ago by the characters original creator Akira Yasuda, that back in 1989 when the original Final Fight released that Poison was ALWAYS intended to be female. But during 1989, it was very controversial to have a woman as an enemy that you would beat up in a game. So because Yasuda loved her character so much he didn't want to get rid of her, so he listed her as a "New Half" just so she could be in the game.
Anonymous10(9): so NO she is not a Transgender, people just hold on to that stupid idea just because they love the idea of having a cool character to represent the "Trans Comunity" but the truth is, she is and always has been female and the whole "New half" shit was just used as a way to get her into the game. So if you go by what the producer for SFV says then yes she is Trans BUT if you go by what her original creator says, then no, she is not. Point is she can be whatever the fuck anyone wants to think. I personally would still fuck the character either way so I don't really give a shit, but the fact that her original creator says she is not really Trans is just more accurate and in my opinion has more truth.
