Why? Because it ISN'T CONSISTENT. People arbitrarily add shit like this and then don't follow through by adding the tag to ALL applicable pics.
Many of the pics with this tag DON'T HAVE BATMAN IN THEM. It seems to be used just for the other characters.
People have to get permission to add mass tags anyway. I think we are going to require that whoever wants the tag commit to adding it to ALL applicable pics or not at all. What good is it if it is haphazard anyway?

Batman is part of his own series, is he not? So if you want to keep this tag, someone is going to go through all the pics actually containing batman and add it.
