Anonymous5(3): Actually Oz-Riel DMC4 is the highest selling game in the series. While the reception may be mixed it is NOT a bad game unlike the reboot. Whoops! Sorry to be disappointing you with facts. It didn't pull in COD like numbers which is extremely unrealistic.

Anonymous6(2): It didn't make the kind of money Capcom wanted. Capcom doesn't know what to do with the DMC series anymore. Fans wanted the game to be outsourced to Platinum Games but former Capcom staff work for Platinum and they probably have bad blood with Capcom. If Hideki Kamiya takes over for DMC again, say goodbye to DMC 3 and 4 for they'll no longer be considered canon. Kamiya has his own DMC canon.
