kasza2: Awsome. Hotness, but also some sensitive touch to that.

Anonymous1: To the Poser Artists, XNAlara and model rippers.

You are the scum nobody looks up to. Because artists are the people who can pull stuff on their own. i.e. By rule of thumb they have a thing of their own, a style if you may call it.

And nobody looks up to the stuff of someone who can't produce on their own, because there's no "your own" thing involved, because they download and copy what someone else has already done.

Anonymous2: art is just an elaborate form of c&p. was always that way, computers just made the process easier. now shut up and fap!

kasza2: @Anonymous: Your knowledge about 3d renders seem minimal, and your opinion - very narrow and subjective. 3D posers may use common models, but there are poses and whole scenes that make them unique. And if somebody does better poses, expresses emotions better, he's a better 3D artist. And those poses and set-ups are in most cases individual work of the author.
Generally, would be better if you didn't comment a kind of art you seem to not understand.

"Your knowledge about 3d renders seem minimal"

Yes, you are right, I'm a noob when it comes down to rendering, my "knowledge" is very basic, yet more oriented towards the use of Metalray and Vray renders, however my level of ignorancy in regards to rendering is still not as big as yours, who overestimates how much "knowledge" required to render a scene with a basic light setup and material.. A single directional light source with minimal lighting not set to zero, a diffuse and a gloss material, and a bloom-look-alike filter? probably done at photoshop, I gonna guess it's duplicate layer set gaussian blur around 15 pixels with opacity somewhere on ~30%, didn't even bother changing the merging property.

as for my narrow and subjective "opinion"...
Some self entitled painter doesn't become an artists for copying someone's painting just as the amateur drawner doesn't become more than an amateur for tracing.
No matter how you want to believe it, none of that changed with 3D. Poser, DAZ Studio, Gmod, all the crap that comes down their path didn't change that, it only made it more obvious. Just becouse it's easier now, it doesn't quit being copying.

As for "posing", "rending", and setting a "scene", these are NOTHING MORE then excuses of a bunch of kids who MUST bend themselves around their own beliefs in other to deny the simple fact that they rather copy because it's so easy, over apply a proper fanart.

Jorak: lol...next time please wait until I have my popcorn ready.
Who said I want to be seen as an artist? This is the best joke ever...it's a hobby...if you can't fap to xnalara 3D tits...don't click it...it's sooo easy.
Real Artists are another league for sure.
Depending on what you look for, approx. 70% (or more)of the stuff here is crap...but who cares.
I definitely don't have the time to comment on every bad picture I see and tell how ugly it is...oh and by the way...you may have heard it before but tastes differ.

kasza2: @Anonymous: I know how much it takes to make XNALara image, I make them myself. Naturally depends on a particular example, but sorry, I've been making pics that were taking me even two days with post rendering edits and adjusting poses and face expressions to be the best I could do. And I would not like a person like you to show up and say nobody was looking to that.
I entirely don't agree with you about your "copying" argument in 3d posed artworks. You should also say all traditional painters are copiers, because all use paints! But, no, they use the same paints to make their own artworks while posers use the same models to make their own arts as well!
Your opinion also brought one more thought to me I knew from a long time ago. There is a group of people with kind of "high", "sublime" artistic tastes who are getting very annoyed this form of fan-arts is popular and liked by many. Sometimes more likeable then their own, "professional" renders or hand-drawn arts, also among pros whose income is threatened by that activity. ;) It happens also in a world of music, so it's not a new phenomenon. They find it hard to accept those pics are magic because they use originally-looking models, like in the game, and that is sometimes more valuable to see then anonymous, own models, no matter how well they are done. That's the power of fan arts. Get over it, and don't discourage other people's creative activities.
