Lapp: @Seeman: Nah, that's pretty sensible, to be fair. Fluttershy was badass as fuck in Season 1, imo, but Season 2+ was so busy panning to the older audience (us) that it just made her look autistic, because instead of her struggling with her timidity, she just blew the idea of character development to the wind. Every episode based on her learning a lesson, she just ended up wherever the fuck she started and the story figured "WELP GAYS IT'S FLUTTERSHY, BEING AUTISTIC IS WHAT SHE DO," which was in no way what had made her cool S1. :V

Lapp: @Nuxersopus: Not particularly as far as I could tell. The episodes were about her doing that, yes, but then by the end, something happened to completely undo any progress she had made. We wish that she'd be dynamic and stand up for herself like you said, but none of her character changes ever stuck. :s
