Think about it. There are a LOT of countries that owe the USA money. African countries, hell, even UK and France from WWII. Add interest to all that and honey, we can pay China AND still have money left over.
Now, you might say that it's not a good idea to be spending money that you don't have [back yet]. That...is a legitimate argument.
But yeah, it surprises me how so many people - not just Americans - are so ignorant of BASIC ECONOMICS.
