Anonymous3(1): @Anonymous: It's about the right lengths. Think of how it would look if she was standing on all 4s, her neck would be diagonal to her body with the head significantly raised above it. The ponies have long necks naturally.
Anonymous4(2): @Gomenasai: But this picture is drawn with perspective considered. It's not a frontal view of her neck, either - in that case (and in this pose), her chin should cover even more of her neck. Otherwise, we wouldn't see its natural length due to the angle it's at. Even then...
But I'll look at some more pony, to see how they check out.
Anonymous5(1): @Anonymous: It looks like she's leaning against a wall or something, and while her lower half is lying parallel the ground the upper half is in full frontal view, so basically she's sitting.
You're probably thinking it's pose 1 when it's actually 2:
Anonymous6: @Gomenasai: I know it's not 1 because a lot of her stomach is showing.
Maybe it's her head's height versus her neck's length - in these pretty drawings you've provided, her head is clearly taller than her neck is longer. On Scotch's drawing, it's a borderline case. Thinking of it like 2 kind of eases it.
Thanks, by the way!
