PinkBallons: Spike having a hemipenis still rustles me. It kind of makes sense, given that lizards have them, but artists never even draw it or depict him using it correctly.
Anonymous5: Hemipenes don't make sense. Lizards and snakes have them because they breed sideways. This is because A) no legs or B) legs that are not carried beneath the body. Spike's legs are carried beneath his body. He wouldn't need to tail wrap because he doesn't have to go in from the side from behind invariably. Look at turtles, tortoises, and crocodilians. They don't breed from the side, and they also have one penis. Without a need to have intercourse sideways, evolution doesn't select two penises over one.
