BrickShitHouse: I'll say that I'm kind of disappointed in their behavior as of late.

I remember Opposing Force, hell, just the first Borderlands was a fun game.

I figure, the fuckup with DNF was them panicking over having bought themselves a development clusterfuck, nothing good could have come out of 14 years of development time.

Aliens Colonial Marines? I mean, just... LOOK at it... and the fact that they actually spent time on making a FAKE gameplay trailer for it.

Anonymous3(2): The only thing they did was op4. They wasted everybodies time with everything else. And fucking pitchford is either a fucking troll or mentally unstable when he tried to compare forever to half life 2.

HATESPLOSION: Brick: I've noticed that Gearbox has a serious problem with promising one thing and delivering something substantially different even in BL2.

The Hunting DLC was billed as "kill shit, plucky Victorian humor, mustaches!"...and it came out as Heart of Darkness with super-bastard enemies.

Scarlet's DLC was sold as "PIRATES! MAYHEM! TREASURE!" and we got fucking Shade the world's worst Hunter S. Thompson ripoff set in a depressing dust bowl wasteland.

Torgue's DLC: EXPLOSIONS! METAL! Got: slogging, farming. At least Badassasaurus Rex was cool.

Krieg the Psycho DLC trailer: psycho thinking one thing, saying another -lolz, Also, crushing on Maya. Actual character: 1/4 funny, 3/4's creepy -also sounded NOTHING like the trailer.

Tiny Tina's was epic though. Most of the DLC was shit, (Krieg and Gaige were good), but TTAoDK was fucking unreal. 100% credit for that gem. It was so unlike everything else I have no idea how they did it. Their business model makes 0 sense from the outside.

Imo 80% of their BL2 problem was how dated their gameplay engine is. Needs more movement options and complexity. Too many fights are just the same thing with smaller and smaller margin of errors.

Tl;dr: don't trust Gearbox for any reason; they sometimes do some great work, but buy nothing on faith.

Ricky_Roma: @HATESPLOSION: Not surprised the Tiny Tina DLC was the one with great care taken with it since Tina's voice actress is the sister of the lead writer.
