Comixfan: (*Disclaimer: The following is just my opinion) Honestly, I felt this was the weakest part of his character narrative. They had no real chemistry and the whole relationship felt forced. Zuko and Jin made far more sense and would have made a perfect analogy of the 'new peace' between the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom. On top of that, Jin was far hotter. Regardless, this is one really hot piece. Just wish panda was still creating these masterpieces. Last time I checked, no dice.
Anonymous3: @Comixfan: I thought Zuko with Mai was brilliant! She's incredibly strong and skilled with weapons like he is. She's snarky and witty but has a heart of gold, just like he's emotionally awkward and misguided but has a heart of gold. But they balance each other out. He's overly emotional, while she only gets emotional about the things she really cares about.
Also when they were kids it was pretty cute that he saved her from being on fire.
I like that he didn't just go for a generic nice girl like Jin or Song. Mai is hot in that classy sort of way, like a Fire Lady should be.
Anonymous4: Comixfan, I get what you mean, but there was love between them since the beginning (as they show in one episode when they were kids) and also, Mai was the reason she didn't want anything to do with Jin.
