But they're easy to find hot because they're just tall humans with pointy ears, a feminine skin colour and a jungle vibe. They're easy for people who aren't into their porn as much as we are to find attractive.
tainer: Taurens, Orcs, Trolls - and even Gnomes, Undead and Dwarves while in their fan art and with creative license, can be super hot - but their models are hideous in the game engine to most people.
So up until the Draenei came, WoW never had a race for it's players to actually say 'huh she looks kinda hot' that was properly alien.
Draenei were even taller than Night Elves, had huge horns jutting out of their skulls, chin-tentacles, tails, legs like the Elite race had in Halo (wort wort wort), and hooves! They were very non-human but Blizzard managed to make them super hot and show them well in the game model.
"normal" people who don't look at 15 different fetishes of hentai daily were not used to being attracted to a fictional person which was also very un-human I guess. And they leapt on it and Draenei porn became ridiculously popular above all other races among the people in the community who love both WoW and hentai.
