Anonymous8: As stated by akira dragon ball was suppose to be about goku and dragon ball Z was suppose to be about gohan, but his editors wouldn't let him changes the character focus. that's y he kept trying to kill of goku and lift Gohan up on a platform of "OMG HES SO SPECIAL!". But when teh buu saga rolled around he just plain gave up. he was sick of his editors messing with what he wanted to do, and sick of fighting it.
PurpleLightning: @anon8 yeah, but he didn't have to go out of his way to make Gohan a bitch. excluding him from anything past ssj2 would have done enough to satisfy the editors' requirement.
