The funny thing is that the REASON their canon Rule63 appearances are hotter than the fan-made ones is because the fan-made ones have been trying to be as true to classic Archie as possible. (Which means old-style art styles and decades-old hairdos and fashions.)
On the other hand, Gisèle Laglacé (the Quebecois woman who draws webcomics like Eerie Cuties and did the art for Archie issue #636) took liberties.
