Anonymous5: I find it kind of hard to believe that 'cousins' not only share the same birthday but year of birth. I'm betting they turn out to be twin sibs in a later season.
Anonymous8: In most states in the u.s. the law defines incest as anything up to 3rd cousin. biologically, inbreeding would become disadvantageous only up to immediate relatives, and with repeated occurrences in the same bloodline. At this point in the human population, everyone is at least everyone else's 10th cousin.
tl;dr, WE'RE ALL RELATED. EVERYTHING'S INCEST LOLOLOLOL.
Anonymous12(9): 4th cousin and beyond, inbreeding is no more significant than with anyone taken from the population at random. When you get up to 1st cousins, you're treading in six-toed territory, though.
Anonymous14: Actually, Anon8, there are many states where first cousins can legally marry (and thus, sexual relations are not incest). I am not aware of any where third cousins can't.
Noble: I'm pretty sure its most states if not all. If cousin marriages were illegalized it would be a huge news. UK is a bit closer to making cousin marriages illegal but it hasn't happened.
