But to unsure they wouldn't die out due to asbtanance3, nature caust them to devlope a stronbg mating intinct. Eventually an echidna would be instictivly drawn to a specific member of the opposite sex, and usually only them. (there have been istances where echidna desided they didn't like who nature selected for them) Eventually, the echidnas cast away technology due to almost using it to destroy themselves... Well, half of them did and the other half rebeled and became the Dark Brotherhood, the other and opposate half of the Guardians-knuckles clan. Anyway, even though the echidnas have cast away technology, they are still fucking smart, still have that mating instinct, and Knuckles is drawn tho the former Dark Brotherhood member, Julie Sue. So Knuckles isint interested in anybody but her.
