Anonymous2: It's never official with Poison, because so many officials say different things. Concept art for Final Fight, her original game, actually had her listed as a Newhalf, and more often than not, officials prefer to leave Poison's gender as ambiguous.
Anonymous4: If you ask me, Poison is whatever you want Poison to be. Personally, though, I prefer art of Poison with a vagina instead of a penis, but my preference is a rare find.
Anonymous6: In her original appearance, Poison was intended to be female. In a later release, the publisher did not want such a violent game to involve women, so rather than change the game, the booklet was changed to call Poison a transvestite. Then it snowballed into Poison being a transsexual or whatever.
